Josh Stein for Attorney General

Folks —

We face a daunting climate emergency.

The planet keeps getting hotter, and extreme weather events like hurricanes, wildfires, and floods grow more intense and frequent each year. We’re running out of time to stop catastrophic damage to our planet.

As the Attorney General of North Carolina, Josh plays a critical role in preserving our state’s natural resources and environment.

Josh knows what’s at stake, so he won’t hesitate to do whatever it takes to minimize the impacts of the climate crisis before it’s too late. Sign on to Josh’s petition if you agree that we must take immediate action to preserve our land, water, and air:

Josh is not afraid to take on bad actors responsible for polluting our air and water.

Recently, he filed four lawsuits against 14 manufacturers of a widely-used firefighting foam that contains PFAS, which seeps into our soil and groundwater. Last year, he also urged the U.S. Senate’s Environment and Public Works Committee to strengthen public health and environmental protections against forever chemicals. And in 2020, Josh sued chemical companies Chemours and DuPont for contaminating our drinking water by dumping GenX and other chemicals that last forever into the Cape Fear River.

Josh has proven that he will always stand with North Carolinians over polluters profiting at our expense. Families across our state deserve solutions that protect their health and our natural resources. Our children and grandchildren deserve a healthy future.

We must act now, but we cannot continue this important work of preserving our environment without the support of folks like you powering our movement.

Together, we can keep fighting for bold climate action and clean energy solutions, create good-paying jobs, and ensure economic and environmental justice in North Carolina and across the country. Climate action cannot wait. Add your name next to Josh’s if you agree:

Thank you for raising your voice to demand action on climate change. This is the only home we have, and we must do everything we can to protect it.
