It’s a new year, and we are hitting the ground running, getting ready for the midterm election this November. We are organizing throughout the state of North Carolina, so we can help elect Democrats up and down the ballot. We need to ensure that we expand the Democratic majority in Congress to have a chance to pass President Biden’s Build Back Better plan.

This February, we are hosting our 2022 Resilience Reception. YDNC created the Resilience Reception in honor of former Charlotte Mayor Harvey Gantt and former US Representative Mel Watt. Since its inception, it has evolved into a special event to recognize all of the black Democratic trailblazers across North Carolina, past and present.

You can help us in our goal to organize throughout North Carolina by investing in us and what we plan to do to help elect Democrats by supporting our Resilience Reception. By purchasing a ticket or sponsoring our event, you directly ensure we have the resources to get the vote out and increase our chances of electing Democrats.
