Cardona played a role in Washington’s ‘War on Parents’

While it may be to our shock, but certainly not our surprise, this week it was reported that U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona directly solicited the decision for the National School Boards Association’s letter to President Joe Biden ([link removed]) likening American Parents to domestic terrorists. This letter called on the nation’s highest official to activate a number of federal agencies and offices including the Federal Bureau of Investigations, the United States Postal Service and others to investigate parents.

“Here is another example of the stark difference between the image that Connecticut and National Democrats want to project and who they truly are. In typical even-year fashion, we will watch them all run to the middle hoping to be received by the moderates (the true majority) with open arms, when Governor Lamont and his cronies (who include U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona - formerly Connecticut’s Education Commissioner - and communists U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, State Sen. Julie Kushner and State Rep. Robyn Porter) are making concerted efforts to silence the voices of concerned parents here and nationwide,” said Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto.

“Connecticut Republicans continue to stand behind all our parents. Not only are they owed respect, but they also deserve every Constitutional right as they seek answers or voice their opinions about their children’s education, including when their opinions are different than the progresive left,” continued Proto.

“The only transparent aspect of the Biden Administration’s education agenda is the commitment to divide-and-conquer tactics to achieve their goals. This is not helping our country move forward and setting a terrible example for our children - the future of our country,” concluded Proto.
