We know November might seem like a long way off, but early investments are key to winning any campaign. And we'll be honest, if we plan on defeating the odds and defending the Democratic House majority in the midterms, we need to hit the ground running right now.

Friday at midnight, our campaign is going up against our first real challenge of the election year: our mid-month fundraising deadline. We set a goal of raising $5,000 before the deadline to help Dwight build the infrastructure needed to defend the Democratic House majority in November. Since day one of this new administration, Dwight and House Democrats have never lost sight of what matters most to the American people. They're still fighting back against outrageous attacks on our voting rights and right-wing extremism. And Dwight is pushing for pro-worker investments that support families and create an economy that works for everyone — not just the wealthy few.

But here's the deal, John — we risk losing all the progress we've made and more if Democrats don't keep control of the House in November. And with Republicans restricting voting rights, gerrymandering districts in their favor, and spreading misinformation like wildfire, the odds are stacked against us.
