We are honored to host Congressman Raskin on a special Zoom conversation
TODAY to discuss his book, his story, and the fight to preserve our

On January 6, Congressman Jamie Raskin was at work in the Capitol -- days
after his son died -- as insurrectionists put his life and the life of our
democracy in danger.

He remembers being separated from his daughter, who was also there that
day. He heard a hideous pounding at the doors to the House chamber. "I
will never forget it," he says.

Now, as he helps lead the congressional investigation of how Trump and his
allies were responsible for the insurrection, he just released a new book
about his story. It's called, "UNTHINKABLE: Trauma, Truth, and the Trials

In the book, he tells the story of the forty-five days at the start of
2021 that permanently changed his life -- and his family's -- as he
confronted the painful loss of his son to suicide, lived through the
violent insurrection at the Capitol, and led the impeachment effort to
hold President Trump accountable for inciting the political violence.

Year" recently by The New Yorker.
