Earlier this fall, two gunmen killed countless people in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas -- sparking a much-deserved national cry for politicians to break the partisan gridlock and pass meaningful gun reform.

In the wake of these two tragedies, Trump made a promise to all of us that he would offer policies to curb firearm deaths. But now he's backing out.

Already, Suzan and the House majority have passed a universal background checks bill and stricter regulations for gun purchasing. But Senator Mitch McConnell and Trump would rather work for the National Rifle Association than the people they serve.

Enough is enough. We are tired of waiting, which is why we need to take action NOW. Add your name to Suzan DelBene's petition to demand Trump follow through on his promise to propose solutions to the gun violence epidemic.

Protecting our children, ending this senseless violence, and ensuring no weapons can fall into the wrong hands should be everyone's top priority -- no matter what side of the political aisle you are on.

But it looks like Trump would rather listen to the gun lobby's big-money donors than the American people. So, we have to fight back. Add your name to Suzan DelBene's petition to demand Trump keep his promise and address the gun violence epidemic.
