CNN: Schumer announces vote to change filibuster
I want to make something very clear, John.
If Democrats break the Senate filibuster to silence millions of Americans, we will make their voices heard in ways that are more inconvenient for the majority and this White House than what anybody has seen in living memory.
I guarantee it.
If Chuck Schumer and the Democrats use the nuclear option to change the filibuster we will grind the Senate to a halt. Basic housekeeping requires unanimous consent in the Senate. It would be a nuclear winter.
