This campaign is about much more than defeating Cuellar. It’s about bringing marginalized voices who have been unheard for years to the table on policies that will impact them the most. It’s about sending representation to Congress that won’t align themselves with the GOP on policy and will fight for working people, immigrant communities, and all of our neighbors in South Texas who have been ignored, neglected, and disenfranchised.
Despite everything stacked against us, we defied expectations by earning 48.2% of the vote during our primary in the last election cycle. And this time around, together, we are going to prove that a people-powered campaign like ours can take on an incumbent and win.
