Fundraising for a Democrat presents an interesting conundrum - we are dedicated to making campaign finance reform a reality and taking out the influence of money in politics, but we still need to raise money to convince hundreds of thousands of voters to support people like Carolyn who want to get money out of politics for good.

In a moment, we’re going to ask you to consider continuing to support Carolyn and her dedication to campaign finance reform by becoming a monthly donor, but first let us explain.

You see, friend, for every email we send asking for folks to chip in $10 or $25, Republican Super PACs are making calls to their big corporate donors for six figure checks. When Carolyn ran in 2020, the right wing Club for Growth and the Conservative Leadership Fund spent more against her than almost any other candidate in the country. And this past year, right wing Super PACs again spent more attacking Carolyn than any other House member in the country. This is what we have to fight!

While those Super PACs cash their checks and design their attack ads, we are reaching out to people like you to chip in what you can. We don’t take any corporate PAC money and the vast majority of our funding comes from middle class people who we ask to donate - through email, calls, texts, etc. Every donation means we can fight back against misinformation and make sure our Field, Communications, and Voter Protection teams have what they need to talk to voters directly about Carolyn’s dedication to her community.

We are looking for 15 more supporters to step up and become monthly donors. Monthly donations help our team accurately project how many resources, field staff, and volunteers we can afford.
