It’s Chloe Hunt, Sean’s campaign manager.

Sean’s got his first Republican challenger and we're almost halfway to our annual fundraising goal -- but not there yet. I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves: We need to bring in an additional $11,395 online before midnight to hit this goal in time.

Missing this goal will impact our ability to open field offices, organize grassroots supporters, and train volunteers down the line. Falling short is not a luxury we have -- Sean was the first Democrat to win this district in 46 years.

We have to work just as hard as we did in 2018 if we want to defend this seat. Especially since Sean has a Republican challenger who can spend every hour of every day fundraising with the GOP’s biggest donors to defeat Sean. The National Republican Congressional Committee even went up with ads just this week to further that effort.

Will you pitch in before tonight’s deadline so we can close the gap in time and ensure Team Casten has the resources we need to organize in the months ahead?

I’m sure Donald Trump and the Republican groups supporting Sean’s opponent would love nothing more than to see us come up short.
