Folks — Chris is spot-on.

We have to acknowledge that the horrendous riot on Jan. 6 was a direct attack on our democracy – one that was explicitly encouraged by Republican leadership.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Trump MAGA coalition stoked distrust within their base using misinformation and fear tactics — and the events that unfolded were the direct result of inflammatory rhetoric about the Big Lie that the 2020 election was fraudulent.

If Sarah Huckabee Sanders is elected governor of Arkansas in November, history will repeat itself and she will continue to stoke partisan division and discord that threatens our democracy.

The upcoming election is a choice between continuing the status quo by electing someone whose rhetoric resulted in destruction — or electing Chris Jones who is ready to lead our state forward by valuing truth and honesty above all else.
