Now that we are officially in the election year, I wanted to check in with top supporters like you. Republicans have already placed me on their “offensive target” list, and as we get closer to the election, you can bet they’ll be pulling out all the stops in their attempts to unseat me. They will do anything they can to get me out of Congress and replace me with another rubber stamp for their extremist agenda.

Team, I hate asking for your hard-earned money, and I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t important — but this is really important. Please, chip in $5, $10, or whatever makes sense for you today to ensure we have the resources to run a successful campaign.

What’s more, holding this seat is crucial for Democrats to keep the House majority. Between a razor-thin margin and nationwide redistricting, defending seats like mine is more important than ever. It would mean so much to me if you could contribute any amount to my re-election campaign today so that I can stay in Congress advocating for Long Islanders and all Americans.
