Jessica Cisneros's primary election in Texas is just around the corner! Here are some key upcoming dates to put it in perspective:

January 31st: The deadline to register to vote in this primary election
February 14th: Early voting begins
February 18th: Last day to apply for a ballot by mail
February 25th: Last day of early voting
March 1st: PRIMARY ELECTION DAY!

We have to reach voters now, not later, John. Jessica came just a couple of thousand votes short of a huge upset against Henry Cuellar and his corporate donors. To beat them, we have to scale up the size of our outreach efforts right now and reach as many voters as possible before mail ballots arrive and early in-person voting begins next month.


Turning out voters in a primary is never a small task, but we're up for the challenge — because we can no longer afford Big Oil-backed Democrats like Cuellar derailing our climate agenda. Corporate Democrats like Henry Cuellar have been one of the biggest obstacles to passing the Build Back Better Act, which makes unprecedented investments in our climate. For months, progressives made compromises to get the bare minimum of what our communities deserved — but time and time again, Cuellar put corporate interests ahead of what his constituents demanded.

We're tired of it.

Henry Cuellar has an arsenal of corporate money at his disposal — after all, he's "Big Oil's Favorite Democrat." That's why it's so critical we start organizing now to reach the voters that came out for Jessica in her last primary AND new voters to turn out in March. We've already made 86,000 calls to voters, and we're on track to make 100,000 by tonight (!!!) — but we're going to need your help to go even bigger.
