John, Democrats in the House passed legislation last year to protect our democracy and ensure fair and equal access to the ballot box through national same-day voter registration, two weeks of early voting, automatic voter registration, and other voting rights reforms.

Sadly, Republicans in the Senate continue to block this effort.

Yesterday in Georgia, President Biden took a principled stand with us, calling on the U.S. Senate to protect voting rights. But we need your voice too.

What’s worse? Republican-controlled state legislatures across the country are enacting regressive bills designed to make it harder to vote, especially for people of color.

Here in Florida, Republicans just made it more difficult to vote by mail, something that 40% of American voters did in the 2020 elections.

President Biden said in his speech in Georgia, “Will we choose democracy over autocracy, light over shadow, justice over injustice? I know where I stand.”
