President Joe Biden went down to Georgia yesterday as part of an ongoing campaign to distract Americans from the Democrats' horrific job performance.
Biden's false claims of "voter suppression" has been lapped up by the media's amen chorus of clapping partisan seals, but the allegations simply don't add up. Notable was Biden's laughable claim that the Democrats' federal election takeover bills are similar to the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
Part of the Democrats' gambit is to make any changes to state election laws subject to federal approval -- something called 'preclearance.' The U.S. Supreme Court ruled this practice as unconstitutional...in 2013.
There is nothing that the Democrats won't do to consolidate more power, especially now that they're staring down a reckoning from American voters. But we can't take our foot off the gas pedal right now.
