Republican legislators are passing bills across the country to suppress the vote and attempt to subvert election results for the next decade.

Their attack on our democracy is beyond shameful – and it’s being supported by Mitch McConnell and Republicans in the Senate who are using the Jim Crow filibuster to obstruct any attempt to pass reform.

But now, after we’ve been raising our voices for months demanding action, President Biden is calling on Senators to fix the filibuster to get critical democracy reform passed.

And now we’re expecting the Senate to take a vote on reforming the filibuster as early as Monday! 

We need to apply maximum pressure to Senators across the board to get it done. Will you tell Senators to reform the filibuster to pass the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act before it’s too late?

We’re at a critical point in our fight to clean up corruption and save our democracy. And we know it won’t be easy. Two Democratic Senators, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, have resisted calls to fix the filibuster in order to pass reform.

So we’re joining with allies to call voters directly in their states. Click here to call voters in West Virginia and Arizona to put maximum pressure on Manchin and Sinema before the expected vote. It’s critically important that they hear directly from their voters, and you can help.

Here’s what President Biden said when he spoke yesterday: “The goal of the former president and his allies is to disenfranchise anyone who votes against them. Simple as that. The facts won’t matter; your vote won’t matter. They’ll just decide what they want and then do it.”

We refuse to let that happen.

The Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act will end the influence of dark money in our elections, protect and expand the right to vote, and end gerrymandering – all in time for the 2022 elections.

But we need our Senators to take action to make it happen.
