Membership Alert: 2022 LAPPL Scholarship application link open January 4th Dear Members, This is a friendly reminder that the League’s 39th Annual Scholarship Awards program online application is now open! The deadline for the online application is February 4, 2022, at 5 p.m. The program is open to college-bound dependents of active, retired or reserve LAPPL members (lieutenant rank and below only), who have held continuous membership in the League for more than one year prior to the scholarship application submission date. Up to $10,000 in scholarships will be awarded each year, for a period of two years with continued proof of meeting minimum GPA standards. To complete the online application, click here. The essay will be administered on Saturday, March 26, 2022. No alternative scheduling arrangements will be made. NO EXCEPTIONS! Essays will be judged on the applicant’s ability to analyze the essay question and then appropriately respond to it in writing. Finalists will be selected by the League Scholarship Committee. Your completed online application and official transcript (digital or physical) must be received by the League NO LATER than February 4, 2022, at 5 p.m. *Please note, after entering your email, you will be sent a re-connection link to continue the application in the event your session gets interrupted.
