Folks — the 2022 legislative session was gaveled in earlier today in Richmond. Our Democratic representatives are hard at work in the Capitol fighting to protect the progress that has been made across the Commonwealth over the past few years.

Our Democratic leaders are working tirelessly to defend the right to vote, reform our criminal justice system, protect the reproductive rights of Virginians, and do so much more to make our Commonwealth a welcoming and safe place for everyone during session.

However, members of the General Assembly are prohibited from fundraising during the legislative session. Missing out on 45 days of fundraising might not seem like a big deal but with the new district maps now in place, delegates might have to run for election once again this year. That’s where we come in:

We’re helping our Democrats in session build a warchest so that they’re prepared to run again this year if they have to.
