Hey y'all!
Here's some of what's going on with the Chapter this week:
- Hurricane Ida exposed Entergy's systematic neglect of New Orleans' power grid, and their total failure to provide stable and affordable power to our citizens, despite record profits. Join us Saturday at 2PM for a preliminary planning discussion around a potential campaign to end Entergy's exploitation of our city, and push for the municipalization of New Orleans energy services. Join the call here.
- Socialists must be able to explain and promote socialist politics among a broad audience of their working class peers. The DSA National Speakers’ Training Series is a free course intended for active DSA organizers who would like to develop public speaking skills. The course will include three sessions covering how to structure a ten-minute presentation, and concrete tips for good public speaking. Learn more about the training and sign up here!

New to DSA? Check out our chapter's new member resources here. If you've got any questions about how to get involved or the work our chapter is doing, give us a shout at [email protected].
Not yet a member? The most important tool that the working class has is organization. We're strong when we fight together. We have to build a durable, mass political organization to wield the kind of power we need to win real change in our society. If you aren't a dues-paying member of DSA yet, join today!
