In the face of interconnected and overlapping challenges, we need the leadership and diverse voices of these women in Congress more than ever.
Today, I’m proud to announce my first slate of endorsements for the 2022 midterm election cycle.
There is so much at stake this year. In order to keep making progress and advancing legislation that meets the scale and scope of the crises we face, we need strong, community-focused leadership in Congress.
That’s why I am so proud to endorse these dynamic leaders:
- Rep. Cori Bush, for re-election in Missouri’s 1st District;
- Rep. Barbara Lee, for re-election in the California 12th;
- Rep. Lucy McBath, for re-election in Georgia’s 7th District;
- Rep. Grace Meng, for re-election in the 6th District of New York;
- Rep. Lori Trahan, for re-election in Massachusetts’ 3rd District; and,
- Jessica Cisneros, for election in Texas’ 28th District.
Each of these six women – who I’m grateful to call colleagues, friends, and partners – brings their own lived experience and perspective to the challenges we face, but they share a deep and abiding commitment to centering the humanity of every person, working in close partnership with community, and advancing policies that support greater equity and justice for all.
The 2022 midterm elections are critical to what we’ll be able to accomplish in the next two years. If you’re able, please split a $6 contribution today between our movement and these six leaders to maintain our Democratic majority in the House and expand our movement for progress.

In the face of interconnected and overlapping challenges – an ongoing pandemic, entrenched racial injustice, deepening economic inequality, and more – we need the leadership and diverse voices of these women in Congress more than ever.
I’m proud to endorse each of them, and look forward to working together on behalf of the people in our districts and communities across the country.
