John, if we lose the House and Senate this year, Democratic governors will be our best defense against the radical, far-right agenda of the GOP. Will you pitch in now to help us fight far-right extremism at the state level?

“House Dem campaign chief warns the majority at risk” -- POLITICO

Here's the hard truth about the upcoming elections. The president's party almost always loses seats during the midterms.

With razor-thin control of both the House AND the Senate, experts agree that there's a real risk that Democrats could lose both chambers. In that scenario, President Biden's agenda would be completely stalled at the federal level.

If that happens, we'll need Democratic governors like Dan McKee across the country to take action on the policies that we need to keep moving forward. Will you chip in now to help us elect Dan to a full term?

If Republicans regain control of the House and Senate, progress on voting rights, climate change, reproductive freedom, criminal justice reform, and more will be dead on arrival at the federal level.

But at the state level, it's a different story. Governor McKee has already taken bold action on Democratic priorities like raising the minimum wage and combating gun violence, and he'll continue to do so regardless of who's in power in Washington. But none of that work will be possible if a Republican wins control of the governor's seat.

So please, if you care about expanding on the gains Democrats have made, rush a contribution now to help us build local Democratic power.
