That’s how much Haley won MI-11 by in 2020, and that’s the number that’s been at the top of my mind ever since Haley announced that she’s running for re-election.

But in order to pull off another historic victory in a heated election year, we’re going to have to compete with the GOP’s attacks and outside spending.

Haley was the first Democrat to flip MI-11 blue in nearly 100 years. This time around, all eyes will be on us to see if Haley has what it takes to make history as the first Democrat to secure a third term.

To be honest, it won’t be easy. Michigan is a highly-contested battleground state and the GOP will use all of their dark money and resources to take back the House majority. You can bet they’ll be using their large fundraising hauls to attack Haley, and we need to be on the defensive.

With our new district lines finalized, it’s critical that we have the resources we need to reach out to all of the new voters in MI-11 and begin introducing them to Haley.
