Rep. Lee is a fearless leader who lifts up the East Bay communities she represents in all of her work. She remains one of Congress’ most strident, compassionate, and effective advocates and legislators, and we need her voice in Washington now more than ever, which is why I’m reaching out to you today:

Rep. Lee has always been unapologetic in her pursuit of a more just and peaceful world. Back in 2001, she was the sole “No” vote in Congress against giving the President a blank check to go to war. It was a vote that led her to receive death threats and be called a traitor, but a vote that cemented her as a progressive leader who will never back down in the fight for what’s right.

Now, we work side by side in Congress to expand equitable access to reproductive care, advance healthcare justice, take on racial injustice, income inequality, and more.
