Dear Friend,

Are you, like many of us, feeling a sense of enormous overwhelm? Are you weighed down or crushed by a feeling of existential dread? Does your cognitive or emotional bandwidth seem strangely limited? You are not alone!

Right now we are facing what many thought leaders have termed the “metacrisis”, but what exactly is the metacrisis? Philosopher Jonathan Rowson defines it as:

“...the underlying crisis driving a multitude of crises, not just ecological collapse but a range of governance and security issues, alongside global economic instability and inequality within countries, a steep rise in mental health problems and a decline in social trust... a civilisation-level wicked problem.”

This “underlying crisis” represents an existential challenge to our whole way of being human, and in turn our whole way of dealing with reality – a level of pressure on our emotional, psychological and physical systems that is unprecedented.

Is it possible to discover a posture that can help us to embrace what seems an impossibly vast problem for any one of us individually?

Exploding beyond time, beyond the relative dimension, lies a mysterious absolute domain that is the ultimate wellspring of the human spirit – a deep source of metaphysical strength that allows us to face even the greatest adversity.

Over two weekends, and four intensive days of meditation and practice, Andrew Cohen will invite us to discover this for ourselves. Together we will find and realize the ultimate spiritual posture – an attitude and perspective that allows us to accept the immense scale of the issues that confront us.

Andrew will show how it is possible to embrace the unfathomable scale of what we face as a species, moving beyond nihilism, and bringing strength and positivity into the world in such a way that we can inspire others to do the same.

Dates and Prices

An Intensive Retreat with Spiritual Master Andrew Cohen

14th-23rd January 2022

Weekend One (14th-16th January): three hours per day of online teaching, meditation and dialogue.

Being Retreat (17th-20th January): four full days of meditation, chanting, and teaching.

Weekend Two (21st-23rd January): three hours per day of online teaching, meditation and dialogue.

Each weekend can be booked separately, but you can save $30 when booking both weekends. Our four day Being Retreat is booked separately and is donation-based. Donations will be collected after the second weekend concludes.
