Tell Senate Democrats: Change the filibuster and pass the Freedom to Vote Act now!

This week, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is pushing for a historic vote to change the filibuster and allow critical voting rights legislation like the Freedom to Vote Act to pass.

We need all 50 Democratic Senators on board. But some of them still aren’t sure, prioritizing the Jim Crow filibuster over saving our democracy.

The Freedom to Vote Act expands voting by mail and early voting. It protects our elections from partisan sabotage, fights gerrymandering, and blocks states from passing voter suppression laws.

Democracy is more important than the filibuster. Sign the petition: change the filibuster and pass the Freedom to Vote Act now!

Last year, to pass an emergency increase in the debt ceiling and stop a default on our debts, Senators made an exception to the filibuster.

If we can do it for the debt ceiling, we can do it for voting rights.

In this red-alert moment for democracy, we can’t afford to let the filibuster block popular voting rights legislation that a majority of Senators support.

Sign the petition: do what it takes to protect the vote. Change the filibuster and pass the Freedom to Vote Act now!

Thanks for standing up.
