21,311 votes made the difference in my race against Roy Moore in Alabama, so trust me when I say: I know a tough fight when I see one. And Tom Perez is in a tough fight for Maryland Governor.

Here's the deal: Tom is locked in a crowded primary in a “toss up” race that's forecasted to be one of the most expensive in Maryland's history. Once he makes it to the general, he'll go up against a Republican challenger with a massive war chest in a state that’s elected a Republican to the governor's office in three out of the last five elections.

Winning races like this one isn't a passive choice – it's an active fight – one that requires millions of dollars in resources and sustained, grassroots support from people just like you, who believe in Tom’s vision and know what he will do for Maryland families beginning on his first day in office.
