Fight for $15
**************************
John,
Niesha Harris-Brazell should be alive today.
She was 16 years old and worked as a cashier at Burger King here in Milwaukee. While working a shift she was shot and killed in a robbery. Her family and community have been torn apart by this senseless violence, and it breaks my heart.
We know that violence on the job is all too common. I know how violent our stores get, and rich CEOs would rather pretend the problem doesn't exist. Their inaction and silence shows they value profits over our lives.
EVERYONE deserves a safe workplace. Agree? Sign now to demand corporations like Burger King protect workers >> [[link removed]]
Our lives shouldn't be at risk because we've clocked in.
Every day, I go to work to afford the basics that keep me safe: a roof over my head and food on the table. We deserve that same safety at work.
Corporations like Burger King must create plans to address their stores' violence and create a safe workplace. And workers like me need a seat at the table.
Sign in solidarity with us and demand that every worker is kept safe at work >> [[link removed]]
Niesha should have been safe at work. No job should cost us our life.
In solidarity,
