Friend,

We should take a minute to talk about healthcare and Joni’s stance on such an important issue. Since Joni has been in Washington, she has attempted to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) five times. At least Joni can say she’s consistent in her apathy for Iowans' healthcare.

Nearly 39,000 Iowans get their health insurance from the ACA. That’s 39,000 of our neighbors who would be left without any insurance to keep life-saving medical coverage.

We’re not talking about car insurance or renters insurance here. We’re talking about healthcare and the livelihood of literally thousands of Iowans.

Eddie Mauro believes in the ACA and wants to strengthen it with Medicare for anyone who wants it. Add your name to our petition and demand that Joni put the lives of her constituents over appeasing Donald Trump.

Joni Ernst couldn’t care less about her constituents. She’s comfortable serving the gun lobby, real estate lobby and big pharma. But, when it comes to getting people the relief they need, Joni’s more than happy to kick us to the curb.

When she voted to repeal the ACA, she had no replacement in mind. She would force all of us to just “figure it out” on our own. Beyond the stupidity of throwing thousands off of the ACA, having no plan in place for people who need help is simply dangerous.

Eddie Mauro wants to do right by our neighbors. If elected, Eddie will bolster the ACA with Medicare for anyone who wants it, protect anyone with pre-existing conditions and allow Medicare and Medicaid to negotiate drug prices. It’s a comprehensive policy that will save taxpayers millions at the doctor's office.

Join Eddie and add your name to our petition to tell Joni that we want affordable healthcare for all.
