Here’s why hitting our first goal of 2022 is so important, John:
*One of Matt’s opponents, Teddy Daniels, attended the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6 last year. Daniels is making it clear he aligns himself with far-right extremists refusing to accept the legitimate and constitutional transfer of power.
*Now, Daniels wants a seat in Congress — the same democratic institution he is trashing and attacking. Daniel’s only interest is creating chaos in the House.
*Matt’s other opponent, Jim Bognet, is back for a 2020 rematch and is promising to fall in line with Trumpian extremism like slashing access to the ballot box and going back to Trump-era tax cuts for the rich, funded by taxpayers.
The hardworking families of Northeastern Pennsylvania deserve better. They need a member of Congress who is fighting for them — not against them.
