Dear Friend,
As you probably know, I’m the co-founder of the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and and Progressive Change Institute, and a longtime activist. But you may not know I’m also the mom of three little girls.
I think a lot about how to raise my girls to be activists themselves. Their generation will have to fight through massive climate and social upheaval. I want to give them the tools to build a better future, and the confidence and courage to do it.
So I wrote a book for them (and all kids)!
I Can Change Everything, published by Strong Arm Press, teaches kids the power of their imaginations -- from changing their socks and shoes to changing the world. It’s a bright and fun story, with illustrations by Laura Brenlla. (Check out a few of the illustrations below.)
As I launch this book into the world, I would love your support. Please think about buying a copy for a child in your life. It would make a great holiday gift! You can also donate copies to local schools or women’s shelters.
