Kim Reynolds ignores issues facing working families in Iowa

Kim Reynolds just wrapped up her Condition of the State speech and painted a very rosy picture of her and Iowa Republicans’ leadership over the past five years – conveniently leaving out that they’ve created a workforce crisis, failed to clean up our water, and attacked our public schools.

She happily took credit for funding secured by Congresswoman Cindy Axne and signed by President Joe Biden through the American Rescue Plan and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act – both of which she actively opposed. Kim Reynolds has had more than enough time in office to keep her promise of connecting our small towns with high-speed internet access, but it took Democrats to get it done.

Kim Reynolds has shown time after time that she’ll sell out Iowans to the highest bidder if it helps her and her corporate donors. Enough is enough. Can we count on you to chip in $20.22 right now so we can defeat her this fall? [[link removed]]

We need a new Democratic governor who will prioritize our public schools, ensure that every Iowan has clean water from the tap, and make Iowa a place where working families can thrive. It’s going to be tough, but nothing worth doing is ever easy.
