[1]Women's March

We did it it,
John.

After months of calling out Marjorie Taylor Greene’s lies, extremist
opinions, divisive rhetoric, and racist political agenda, Twitter
announced last week that they have permanently banned Marjorie from their
platform after she continued to spread dangerous COVID misinformation.

We want to thank everyone who signed our petition. We
KNOW we made the difference in putting the pressure on Twitter to remove
Marjorie from their platform.

[ [link removed] ]New York Times headline reads: Twitter permanently suspends Marjorie
Taylor Greene's account. The social media service said the Republican
congresswoman had violated its policy on coronavirus misinformation.

This is progress, but it’s not enough,
John. Marjorie has a long
history of making racist attacks and supporting dangerous conspiracy
theories. She lies for her own gain. Point blank. We live in a time where
that behavior literally costs us lives, and we have to make an example out
of her to stop others from doing the same.

This kind of behavior has no place in Congress. Women's March is one of
the only women-led organizations that is actively organizing and
petitioning to expel Marjorie Taylor Greene. [ [link removed] ]Will you sign on to our
petition today and demand we remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from office?

Marjorie has shown time and time again she is unfit for office:

* She openly endorsed executing Democrats including former President
Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Nancy Pelosi on Facebook.
* She supported deeply hurtful conspiracy theories that allege the mass
school shootings at Sandy Hook and Parkland were “false flag” hoaxes.
* She spread misinformation about the 2020 election results and incited
the insurrection that took place at the Capitol.
* She verbally assaulted Congresswoman Cori Bush and her staff, forcing
them to move their office out of concern for their safety.
* Last fall old photos surfaced of Marjorie posing with a rifle, saying
she’s targeting ‘socialist’ congresswomen.
* She continuously spreads disinformation around COVID and vaccines,
recently falsely claiming there is an “extremely high COVID vaccine
death rate.”

After over 800,000 recorded U.S. deaths and as the Omicron variant spikes
our communities’ COVID rates into record-highs, it is clear we need to
remove any politician from office who does not take this pandemic
seriously. Starting with Marjorie Taylor Greene.

We need to send a loud message to Congress that we will not rest until
Marjorie Taylor Greene is removed from office.

[ [link removed] ]We must demand as a movement to expel Marjorie Taylor Greene from
Congress and put an end to her dangerous far-right agenda. Please add your
name ASAP to the petition.

Together,

Women’s March
