It’s official, John: Gun deaths reached an all-time high in 2020. According to the CDC, 45,222 people were killed by guns—nearly 123 people every single day. The mind-numbing number also reflects the highest year-over-year rise on record.
Our work has never been more important and legislative session is underway, which means we have the chance RIGHT NOW to effect meaningful change. Can you give $22 today to fund our lifesaving gun violence prevention work this year?

We need to make progress now because we know that things have only gotten worse since the end of 2020. Early data from 2021 suggests another record-setting year, driven by gun homicides. We must demand action to reverse this deadly trend.
We refuse to sit idly by as each new month and year brings record-breaking levels of gun violence. We’ve proven that we have the experience and expertise to make change. Since the Alliance’s founding in 2014, more than 30 evidence-based gun safety policies have passed in Washington.
Our 2022 legislative agenda provides a bold roadmap for our elected leaders to take to respond to growing gun violence crisis in our communities. We are fighting tirelessly right now to prohibit high-capacity magazines, fund community violence prevention programs, close the ghost gun loophole, defend our democracy from gun violence, and so much more.
But we cannot do it alone. We need your financial support to carry out our winning legislative strategy. Please, contribute today to save lives from preventable gun violence.
