Much of that came from his own pocket — he’s using his own money in an attempt to buy this seat, and has already injected tens of thousands of dollars into this race to plaster misleading attack ads about Michael all across the state.

$1 million is a lot in a race like this, especially when combined with the more than $75 million Mitch McConnell’s raised to flip seats like this.
