Help us build a massive nationwide mobilization during this MLK weekend Indivisibles,
This is a BIG week for democracy, and we’re pulling out all the stops ahead of Sen. Schumer’s January 17 deadline for Senate action on the filibuster and voting rights.
We’re spending thousands of dollars to build a massive nationwide mobilization during this MLK weekend to honor Dr. King’s legacy of action and demand federal voting rights legislation. Across the country, Indivisibles will gather in their communities -- and this Saturday, activists in Arizona will be joined by Martin Luther King III and more members of the King family in Phoenix.
With Arizona being such a crucial state for this voting rights fight, we’re going the extra mile to make sure Indivisible groups there have what they need for a successful mobilization. That means all our usual support like tool kits, keeping our call lines open and scripts updated, and more for groups nationwide -- and we’re helping local Arizona groups fund their events with reimbursements and gas money to ensure everyone who wants to attend can do so. Plus, this week, we turned on our peer-to-peer texting tool to send out invites to our supporters in Arizona to maximize turnout. And that’s not to mention all the work we’re doing in other states around the country!
Our spending to make these events in Arizona and across the country successful is only possible with grassroots support from people like you. We’re expecting to spend around $5,000 in Arizona alone -- can you pitch in with a $10 donation to fund our tools for this final push for democracy and support all our advocacy work?

Whether you’re feeling fired up about this renewed sense of action in the Senate or just frustrated that it’s taken this long, we’re right there with you. This week looks like our best shot at winning real reform and fixing our democracy while we still have the chance. It’s up to us to get loud enough that senators can’t ignore us and show them we demand federal voting rights legislation. If you want to do more, click here to find an MLK Day of Action for voting rights near you and sign up to attend. No matter how you get involved, we’re grateful for it.
In solidarity, Indivisible Team
