I have an unexpected window open in my schedule today, so I wanted to send this email to you and share why you should invest in my race.
This block of free time doesn’t come around often, especially when I’m juggling my family and a battleground race for Congress. But if the campaign trail has taught me anything, it’s the importance of being prepared and planning ahead.
Right now, we’re figuring out the investments we can make in the months and weeks to come to win this race and replace insurrectionist Madison Cawthorn here in Western North Carolina.
Cawthorn is unfit to serve public office – he’s proven to be a threat to our democracy by repeatedly spreading Trump’s Big Lie, and plotting an extremist, right-wing takeover of North Carolina and the GOP nationally.
We must do everything we can to pave a new path forward for WNC and replace Cawthorn’s divisive and toxic brand of politics with a politics powered by love, empathy, and doing right by our neighbors.
Our primary is five months away. Absentee voting is set to start in just over two months. It will be here before we know it, and we need to have the resources for the road ahead.
That’s why we set a mid-month fundraising goal of $20,000 – our first goal of 2022 – and meeting this goal will be a strong indication of whether this team has what it takes to win. Will you donate $25 or more today to help us meet our goal and build momentum for our race?
