Cal refuses to accept corporate PAC money because our government ought to answer to the people it serves, not corporate interests. Meanwhile, Tillis has traded votes for millions of dollars from corporate PACs.

Cal supports an independent, non-partisan process for drawing districts, while Tillis has helped North Carolina become one of the most gerrymandered states in the country.

And Cal believes voting is a fundamental right that should not be manipulated or tampered with in any way. But Tillis has championed countless voter suppression efforts -- including a law that “targeted African Americans ‘with almost surgical precision,” according to one court.
