Twitter has permanently suspended Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's personal account for spreading misinformation about COVID-19. And what we'll say is: it's about darn time.

Since day one in office, Greene has been spreading misinformation, tweeting dangerous lies, and touting conspiracy theories at every turn. She's lied about the vaccine, claimed COVID-19 isn't dangerous, and has incited violence against other members of Congress. Not to mention her entire platform is built on white supremacy.

Greene may no longer be tweeting from her personal account, but her words still have consequences. Every day she's in office is a threat to our democracy, and if we don't hold her accountable, we set a dangerous precedent for years to come.
