This year is going to be a big year for clean energy. Our growing team of organizers across the state are working with communities at the local level to establish clean energy policies. We know the power local governments hold to enact policies that will protect our future from pollution and ensure all communities have access to a healthy environment. Keeping the momentum Last year we helped multiple local communities pass clean energy resolutions, including De Pere, Brown County, and Wauwatosa. Now we plan to keep that momentum going – with the help of activists like you – in 2022 and continue to be leaders on clean energy work across the state. Here are two local clean energy campaigns to follow: City of Appleton Climate Organizer Gregory Gauthier has been hard at work organizing community members and local elected officials to establish a permanent Climate Change Commission for the city.

It’s time for the School District of La Crosse to join dozens of other school districts and communities around Wisconsin and commit to climate action.
