Fresh Energy is excited to kick off our end of year giving by participating in Give to the Max Day one week from today, and we hope you will join us by making a donation online at GiveMN.org ([link removed]) (all gifts given between today and next Thursday will count towards Give to the Max Day).

For more than 25 years, Fresh Energy has shaped and driven policies that have moved Minnesota toward a future powered by clean energy and away from coal and other fossil fuels. Supporters like you have helped to make this bold, inclusive transition to clean energy possible.

But we need to do more—and fast. Despite making huge progress on clean electricity, overall emissions in Minnesota and the Midwest are on the rise because cars, buildings, and other areas of our economy still use too much oil and gas.

In fact, if the Midwest was its own country, we would be the sixth largest carbon emitter in the world, just below Russia.
