This is a big week for Wisconsin, team.
On Sunday, Ron Johnson announced that he's running for Senate again in 2022, and election experts rank Wisconsin as our number one opportunity to beat a Republican senator.

Mandela is more than just a candidate for U.S. Senate — he’s a game changer who has led the fight to create opportunity for every person in Wisconsin, no matter where they come from.
He grew up in one of the most impoverished and incarcerated zip codes in the country. Both of his parents were active union members who impressed upon him the importance of hard work and equal opportunity for all.
The fights we are currently taking on in the Senate — for work with dignity and fair wages, the right to bargain collectively in a union, and to protect our rights no matter what the GOP throws in our way — are fights Mandela has known his entire life.
When Mandela ran for lieutenant governor of Wisconsin in 2018, he did it to create meaningful change and a more equitable future for everyone. And he made history as the first Black lieutenant governor to be elected in the Badger State where he’s been a powerful advocate for justice and economic opportunity.
Mandela is exactly the kind of person we need standing by my side in the U.S. Senate. And now that Ron Johnson is officially running for re-election, it is more important than ever that we come together to flip Wisconsin blue.
