Hi team, You’ve probably heard me talk a lot about this issue because it’s one
that is close to me

Hi team,

You’ve heard me talk a lot about this issue because it’s one that is close to
my heart.

I’ve been fighting tooth and nail to permanently ban uranium mining around the
Grand Canyon and clean up the toxic legacy of the past. My bill, recently
passed by the U.S. House, would do just that. But the Trump Administration
isn’t joining this fight.

Instead, they’re working with Rick Perry and nuclear energy special interests
to boost domestic uranium mining, rather than ending this toxic and harmful
practice.

We must make sure the Grand Canyon is free and clear of dangerous and toxic
uranium mining. For me, it’s an easy decision: it’s people over profits. Will
you help me continue fighting on behalf of Arizona families by chipping in $10
right now?

Together, we can finally make much-needed progress and get this ban passed
into law.

Thank you,
Tom O’Halleran

Great news -- Tom’s bill to permanently ban uranium mining around the Grand
Canyon has passed the House of Representatives with an overwhelming majority of
support!

Toxic uranium mining has already taken countless lives, contaminated our
drinking water, affected nearby Native American tribes and increased risks of
cancer. That’s why it’s so important that we put an end to this dangerous
practice for good.

But now, while we’re working to get the Senate to vote on his legislation,
special interests with the nuclear energy industry are trying to persuade
Donald Trump to increase domestic uranium mining. That would be taking us in
the wrong direction.

We have to stand up to these special interests who care more about uranium
profits than the health and safety of our communities. Chip in $16 today to
help Tom keep fighting!

The toxic legacy of uranium mining is still being felt to this day --
especially by the members of the Navajo Nation near the Grand Canyon.

Uranium mining is a gamble. It’s a gamble with our resources and it’s a gamble
with our neighbors’ lives. When it comes to protecting our communities’ health
and our environment, Tom won’t stop fighting. There’s no room to take that risk.

Chip in $16 today and help support Tom’s fight to keep Arizona away from
greedy special interests looking to make money off of our land and poison our
communities.
