Something you may have missed, John -- Georgia Republicans have pushed through gerrymandered maps, which were signed by vote-suppressing governor Brian Kemp.

We're disappointed. But here's why we're still hopeful:

Almost immediately, voters filed a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination.
Georgia now joins states like Texas, Ohio, North Carolina, and Alabama where voters are suing to get fair maps (and the U.S. Justice Department is suing Texas!)
States from Michigan to California to New Jersey and more have recently adopted fair maps!

The fact is, our efforts to stop GOP gerrymandering are working. But we still have much more to do, which is why we’re asking you to chip in today.
