John, Cori's in
the news again!

Today the House reconvened for the first time this new year, so we wanted
to make sure you saw this article from The Guardian detailing Cori's first
year in Congress and her commitment to our work.

The article covers everything Cori has been up to since joining Congress —
leading a resolution that would investigate and expel insurrectionist
members of Congress, staying on the steps of the Capitol for five days
calling for an extended eviction moratorium, and continuing the work to
pass bold, progressive legislation.

Cori has been unapologetic in calling for transformative change in our
politics, so it's no surprise The Guardian called her "one of the most
recognizable – and quotable – members of the House."

Cori's fighting for our movement every day, but she needs this grassroots
team to have her back. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in $5 so Cori has
the funds she needs to continue leading the fight for economic,
environmental, and racial justice?

In the interview, Cori spoke about how her background as a politivist has
inspired her work in Congress. Here's one of our favorite quotes:

"I am who I am," she said. "I don’t take off my activist hat to be able to
legislate in Congress. And so that has been the guiding force this entire
time."

Cori is fighting hard for St. Louis and for progressive change because
these issues are personal. Cori understands first-hand the issues that
impact our communities the most and will always put her constituents
first.

[ [link removed] ]Please, Cori is counting on this team. If you can, donate
$5 now to power Cori's work in Congress and prepare for our
re-election this year.

John, this
movement is 100% funded by grassroots donors like you. In fact, our
average donation is only $21.42 so any gift you can afford will help build
our progressive movement.

Together,

Team Cori
