Happy New Year, ! 🌟

The beginning of the year is a time for setting goals and resolutions. And because we’re reaching a critical tipping point in the fight to stop the climate crisis, one of our resolutions is to do whatever it takes to make sure 2022 is a monumental year for climate action.

This means continuing to push for bold climate policies like the Build Back Better Agenda, holding our elected officials accountable for following through on their promises to act on climate, and increasing our people power in this fight by getting as many folks on board with our movement as possible.

Will you do your part and join us by making a resolution to #ActOnClimate in 2022 and make this *THE* year in the fight to end the climate crisis?

According to scientists, we now have just eight years left to change our course and make the investments needed to avoid the most catastrophic consequences of climate change.

But a lot of what we can do hinges upon our decision-makers who shape these investments and policies. And here in Pennsylvania, one of the only meaningful courses of action on the table at the moment is joining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), which would curb carbon pollution while investing millions of dollars into our communities and public health. It’s a no-brainer for addressing climate change and helping workers, but far-right politicians have tried to block it every step of the way.

This has to change — now . States like Pennsylvania need to be leaders in climate change, not spectators sitting on the sidelines. Now is the moment for each and every one of us to do everything we can to ensure bold environmental policies like RGGI are part of our public officials’ top priorities — and that requires making sure they follow through on their commitments to protect the environment.

Friend, I know how important climate action is to you. That’s why I need you with us: Please join me in making a resolution to say you’re all in to take bigger and bolder action on climate in 2022, and we’ll follow up with additional opportunities [[link removed]]

Let’s do this.
