Friend,

Earlier this morning, the Georgia General Assembly gaveled into session – kicking off 40 legislative days that should run us through most of March.

Today was a shortened day as many across our state are focused on the National Championship Game, featuring Georgia and Alabama, to be played tonight. For that reason, Governor Kemp has declared today “Hunker Down Day” to rally the Dawgs to victory.

For us, however, it’s also time to “Hunker Down” and do battle to defend families and advance freedom across our state. We are your tip of the spear to save lives, end the indoctrination of our students, and push back against attacks on your freedom.

In all, we anticipate endorsing a couple dozen pieces of legislation and actively opposing several bills – including efforts to bring casino gambling to Georgia – that would be bad for our state.

Part of “hunkering down” for legislative session includes prayer. Here is a list of people and efforts to pray for:

  • The leadership of our state – Governor Brian Kemp, Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan, and Speaker David Ralston – that the Lord will grant them wisdom and boldness to do and to lead right.
  • Education Committee Chairmen – Chuck Payne in the Senate and Matt Dubnik in the House – as they tackle what will be a very busy session that includes our “Save Our Students” Agenda.
  • For the health of legislators as COVID continues to play a factor in people’s well-being and the challenges of gathering together.
  • Strength and wisdom for our legislators as we seek to push back against the abuses of the Biden Administration as well as other entities – abuses aimed at robbing citizens of their medical freedom and basic human dignity.
  • Boldness for our legislators as we work to Save Our Students from indoctrination and one-size-fits-all education.
  • For Christian businesses and for the Church that – as wokists seek to impose their values upon our state – those who hold to our faith will be salt and light in this world.
  • And, for our Frontline lobbying team – the largest pro-family, pro-life team at the Capitol – to glorify Christ, utilize winning strategies, and deliver results for the people of our state.

Please be in prayer for this session. We need you!
