Tuesday’s election results showed us that folks all over the country are ready for change, and after spending the last six months on the campaign trail, I can tell you this: Texas is ready, too. It’s not going to be easy, but I’ve never backed down from a tough fight. I know we can do this -- but only if we’re in it together.

We’ve got the enthusiasm and momentum to beat Sen. Cornyn. But he’s an entrenched incumbent who’s spent almost two decades in Washington serving the special interests and DC bosses like Mitch McConnell, who are going to pour money into Texas to prop him up.
