Y'all, I hope you'll give me 60 seconds to explain why donating right now is so critical. But if you're already with me, you can pitch in here: [link removed]

Tuesday's election results showed us that folks all over the country are ready for change, and after spending the last six months on the campaign trail, I can tell you this: Texas is ready, too. It's not going to be easy, but I've never backed down from a tough fight. I know we can do this -- but only if we're in it together.

Will you chip in now to help build the Texas-sized campaign we need to beat Sen. Cornyn?

We've got the enthusiasm and momentum to beat Sen. Cornyn. But he's an entrenched incumbent who's spent almost two decades in Washington serving the special interests and DC bosses like Mitch McConnell, who are going to pour money into Texas to prop him up.

If we're going to stay on track and build a campaign that can compete with Sen. Cornyn and WIN next November, I need you in my corner. Here's what we're up against:

Sen. Cornyn has already aired the first TV ads of the campaign
He's got a nearly $11 million war chest funded by millions in corporate PAC money
A super PAC has raised over $9 million to help buy his reelection

Here's the deal: I don't have any corporate PACs propping up my campaign, hoping I'll play nice with them once I'm Senator. I'm not taking their money because I will be accountable to the people, not special interests. That's why I need you with me. Will you pitch in right now so we can build the campaign we need to win Texas?

Thanks for everything,

MJ
