As we move into 2022 let us focus on working together! Now more than ever I need your support to keep momentum with my campaign for Congress!
A look back from a year out…
On Jan. 6th, 2021, Lauren Boebert betrayed her oath of office and the trust of the American people. She embraced the Big Lie about the election being stolen — and then rioters stormed the Capitol in hopes of undermining our democracy. Rolling Stone reported that Jan. 6 organizers coordinated directly with Lauren Boebert and her staff and she has said that she is proud of her efforts on January 6th to overturn a democratic election that was, by all accounts, free from widespread voter fraud and irregularities. She is a danger to our democracy. Coloradans are tired of partisan bickering. They don’t care about who scores cheap political points or what the latest viral hashtag is. They care about whether their families will get through this pandemic, regain their economic security, and have access to affordable healthcare, quality public education, and essential infrastructure, including our public lands. The challenges we face today transcend party lines. I will not compromise my values and
morals as a Democrat and a Coloradan, but when I have the opportunity to reach across the aisle to deliver results for my constituents, I take it. That’s how we do things in rural Colorado. We come together to solve problems not as Democrats and Republicans, but as neighbors and Coloradans. Can you help support the cause — Donald Valdez for Congress?

As your current Representative of HD62, my commitment lies true to the issues I have always supported for our communities.
* Healthcare
* Broadband expansion
* Education
* Environmental Protections
Affordable, reliable healthcare remains a necessity in rural Colorado. All Coloradans should be able to access healthcare that fits their budgets and needs. I will continue to fight for those necessities.
Our world — our way of working, access to education, and access to healthcare has all shifted dramatically with the continued challenges of COVID. We must remain committed to broadband solutions that support all of our communities navigating these challenges. Infrastructure, affordability, and reliability are crucial in the expansion of broadband.
Access to education for our students is critical! They are our future leaders. Support of our teachers through in-person and distance learning is a continued concern throughout many rural communities.
As a fifth-generation farmer/rancher I will always be committed to our environment and being a steward of the land. We must make sure to protect rural Colorado and the water that sustains agriculture within these communities!
