[1]Cheri Beasley for North Carolina

We just made a difficult decision. It’s one that can make a huge difference in whether or not we win but requires help to fill in the budget gap.

With our general election starting now, we know that scaling up our campaign is incredibly important. While Republicans fight it out in a primary, Democrats are united behind Cheri, and we must take advantage of this opportunity to ramp up.

So I saw an opportunity to make some investments in growing our team and digital program — in a way that will pay off big time long-term.

The money was not in the budget, but I gave the green light anyway because I believe it’s that important to our chances to win North Carolina in November.

It's a risk, definitely. But I made a bet that if we asked, enough people would come through to help fill the gap right now. I'm really hoping you will — for Cheri and for everyone who deserves new leadership and a voice for their family in the Senate.

Can you make a contribution to Cheri Beasley's campaign for U.S. Senate today? Every donation will make a difference and help us make critical early investments that could mean all the difference when the votes are counted.

We’re all incredibly grateful for all of the ways this team has stepped up recently. I’m more confident than ever that if we keep up the hard work, then we are going to flip this seat.

Thank you in advance for anything you're able to pitch in today.
